Renee Y. Tucker

Renee Y. Tucker is a trial attorney who has a diverse background of experience. For more than two decades, she has litigated cases throughout the State of Georgia, first as a defense attorney for 11 years, and then as a plaintiffs’ attorney for the last 10 years. Renee specializes in personal injury litigation, particularly medical malpractice, commercial vehicle liability, premises liability, and general negligence cases involving wrongful death and catastrophic injury.  Renee brings her diverse experience to mediation and arbitration.

Renee recognizes the importance of being approachable, perceptive, respectful, and trustworthy as a mediator, particularly in an ever-changing diverse society.  She mediates all types of civil litigation cases and claims, including medical malpractice, commercial trucking, nursing home, premises liability, wrongful death, county and municipal injuries/death, and auto liability cases.  Renee believes that mediation requires the identification of any hurdles to a successful resolution and formulating the most effective and persuasive strategy to overcome those hurdles. Renee is skilled in obtaining resolutions in cases involving individuals that are new and/or resistant to mediation.  She is also uniquely proficient in helping parties reach resolution on their own, and often, unique essential terms.

Renee is a native of Atlanta, and a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. She obtained her undergraduate degree from DePauw University (Greencastle, Indiana) and her law degree from the University of Georgia School of Law (Athens, Georgia) where she served on the Journal of International and Comparative Law and several Moot Court Teams. At the University of Georgia, Renee was named to the Joseph Henry Lumpkin Inn of Court.

  • $7,500.00 daily rate, up to 3 parties
  • $10,000.00 daily rate, up to 4 parties

• Commercial Litigation (ie: Legal Malpractice, Architectural/Engineering Malpractice, Accounting Malpractice, Business Torts):

  • $7,500.00 daily rate, up to 3 parties
  • $10,000.00 daily rate, up to 4 parties

• Personal Injury:

  • $2,400.00, (half-day), up to 4 hours and 3 parties
  • $6,000.00 (full-day), up to 8 hours and 3 parties
